Seven Yield has agreed five-year time charter contracts covering two of its liquefied natural gas dual-fuel pure car and truck carriers. The Luxembourg-headquartered vessel owner finalized the fixtures with an unnamed automobile manufacturer based in China.

The agreement covers the sister ships Siem Confucius and Siem Aristotle, which are scheduled to commence their respective charters in 2027 and 2028. The deals secure commercial employment for each vessel across an additional five-year timeframe.

Constructed in 2020, both vessels measure approximately 200 metres in length and possess an individual capacity of 7,500 car equivalent units. The two units were the first deep-sea pure car and truck carriers in the world to operate on dual-fuel LNG propulsion.
