The Global Centre for Green Fuels convened a series of panel sessions at SIBCON aimed at advancing ethanol as a practical and repeatable bunkering option for the maritime industry.

Titled Ethanol Bunkering in Singapore – From First Trials to Commercial Scale, the event featured opening remarks from Clarence Woo, managing director of the Global Centre for Green Fuels, who highlighted the fuel's transition beyond initial trials.

The gathering on 13 October took place shortly before the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore announced plans for the city-state's inaugural ethanol bunkering operation, scheduled to occur at PSA's Pasir Panjang Terminal.
