Ammobia and Lummus Technology Partner to Commercialise Modular Ammonia System
Lummus Technology has partnered with San Francisco-based Ammobia to license and globally deploy its modular low-carbon ammonia production technology.

Modular ammonia technology developer Ammobia has entered into an agreement with Lummus Technology to license and commercialise its production system across global markets. The partnership will see the technology integrated into Lummus' broader portfolio of energy and process solutions.
The system, referred to as Haber-Bosch 2.0, represents the first ammonia production technology incorporated into Lummus' lineup. The companies plan to apply the process within integrated systems that complement hydrogen infrastructure, targeting end uses such as marine fuels, energy storage, and transport.
Based in San Francisco, Ammobia develops modular manufacturing designs to alter production economics across diverse energy sources, providing an alternative to traditional world-scale facilities.
