Encomara Advances Squid Floating Wind System to Commercial Readiness
Encomara has achieved Technology Readiness Level 7/8 for its Squid floating offshore wind connection system following Scottish port trials recognized by ABS.
Encomara has progressed its proprietary Squid connection system for floating offshore wind to Technology Readiness Level 7/8.
The readiness level was attained after the company completed a series of inshore trials at Ardersier Port in Scotland.
Following the testing programme, classification society the American Bureau of Shipping recognized the floating wind technology as prepared for commercial manufacturing at scale.
