KfW IPEX-Bank Backs Methanol Dual-Fuel Bulker Duo with €79.3m Loan
German financier KfW IPEX-Bank has agreed to provide €79.3 million in credit for two methanol dual-fuel self-unloading dry bulk vessels.

Germany-based KfW IPEX-Bank has finalized a €79.3 million financing package to support the construction of two self-unloading bulk carriers featuring methanol dual-fuel propulsion systems.
The newbuilding dry bulk vessels will be held under an ownership joint venture between Hartmann Schiffsbeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG and The CSL Group Inc. Following delivery, the ships will enter into a long-term charter deployment with Mibau Stema Shipping ApS, a fully owned subsidiary of Mibau Stema Group GmbH.
Each bulker will be built with a maximum payload rating of 44,000 tonnes. The units are intended to haul building materials throughout European regional trades as well as international export markets.
