Dorian LPG has finalized an order with shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean for the construction of three modern very large gas carriers. The total contract value across the three vessels is approximately $345 million.
Each vessel in the order will have a cargo capacity of 90,000 cbm, feature dual-fuel propulsion, and adhere to Panamax dimensions. Deliveries are scheduled across 2030, with handovers expected in June, September, and December.
Alongside the newbuilding order, the company announced forward chartering estimates and secured a new credit facility to support its ongoing operations.
