Nebraska Feedlot RNG Project to Produce 1.2 Million MMBtu Annually

Construction has commenced on a renewable natural gas initiative in Broken Bow, Nebraska, designed to process livestock manure into sustainable fuel. The output is intended for both general energy generation and commercial shipping fuel applications.

The development will deploy eight anaerobic digesters at the Adams Land and Cattle feedlot. These processing units are engineered to yield approximately 1.2 million MMBtu of pipeline-grade gas per year once fully operational.

Project developers anticipate that the facility will provide a commercial and lower-carbon energy source, demonstrating the role agricultural operations can play in the supply chain for alternative fuels.
