Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has awarded an Approval in Principle to Sweden-based MannTek and Ningbo Kairong New Energy for their jointly developed ship-to-ship LNG Bunkering Crane Master System. The certification was delivered during the Gastech 2026 conference held in Bangkok.

Earlier on the same day of the presentation, the two companies officially introduced the technology and signed a formal Joint Development Cooperation Agreement.

Engineered specifically for ship-to-ship LNG fuel delivery, the Crane Master is an integrated bunkering and hoisting unit that merges crane handling operations with fuel transfer capabilities in a single platform.
