Alkagesta granted access to NATO jet fuel pipeline system in Europe
Access to the CEPS network positions the trader to move jet fuel and SAF into major European airports.

Alkagesta has been granted access to NATO's Central Europe Pipeline System to supply jet fuel, according to reporting by Energy Intelligence and Bloomberg in February. Related coverage says the company also agreed to supply fuel to some of Europe's largest airports.
CEPS is a cross-border pipeline and storage network in western Europe that connects refineries and depots to airfields. Pipeline delivery avoids the road and barge legs that otherwise dominate inland jet fuel logistics, which matters most at high-throughput airports where truck slots are the binding constraint.
For a trading house, network access changes the shape of the business. It extends a marine fuels operation into aviation supply, where contracts are longer, quality specifications are tightly governed and reliability is valued more highly than headline price.
Global Freight has not independently verified the terms of the access arrangement or the airports involved. Details remain as reported by the publications listed below.
